As a collegiate springboard diver I was badly injured when I was fixing the fulcrum of the board and accidentally fell onto the concrete from the 3 meter diving board. I was unable to move my neck or use my arm for 6 weeks despite all of the x-rays, exams, ultrasound, electric stimulation, injections and the expert trainers, therapists and orthopedic doctors I had seen. The waterpolo coach, who also happened to be a chiropractor, saw my injury and said " you should try seeing a chiropractor". At the time I was afraid and didn't like the idea of "getting my neck twisted". After Chiropractic Care changed my life, I knew I had found the profession I wanted to dedicate my life to. I was diagnosed with Scoliosis at the age of 13. My School Nurse did a routine test and noticed that while bending forward the musculature of my back was much more developed on the right side.
